2002-04-28 - 1:17 a.m. First Snowfall The sun shines brightly, reflecting off the newly fallen snow, a sudden flash of light like the very first flower of spring. The wind is icy, but gentle and it kisses my cheeks with the cool morning air. As I watch, the snow flurries race to the ground, dancing on the wind and through my hair. This serene blanket of snow covers the sleeping world with it's embrace, not a chilling hand of death, but a loving mother, warming the Earth with her quilt.
