Wow, a new poem... it's been far too long! Here it is:
The air was cold against my cheeks,
our breath a cloud of mist, from whispered words unheard. unsaid.
But, then a kiss.
A simple kiss.
A moment of eternity. of extasy. of joy.
The fire of a thousand suns passed between us,
in a moment of Passion held long in reign.
And you held me there, lost in your embrace.
Away from time,
from thought,
from all but you,
the song which lit my heart aflame.
