Breath barely broke my lips-
sound unable to escape.
Sliding through my fingers, slick with sweat-
my mind was strangely free-
world swinging lose beneath my feet,
floating free.
Twisting.
Falling.
The sudden pangs of fear,
tearing through my chest as i-
splash
The moment was a moment,
but not a moment soon forgotten.
